Membership categories
The statutes distinguish four categories of member, with different admission conditions, rights and financial obligations. Identify yours and complete the form. The detailed conditions are laid down in the statutes.
Natural and legal persons and undertakings of any legal form (private and cooperative) connected with the olive sector, whose principal professional activity is at least one of the nine activities set out in Article 6.1 of the statutes.
Rights: full voting rights; may elect and be elected to all bodies. Obligations: one-off registration fee and annual subscription.
Rights: attend the General Assembly with the right to speak but not to vote; serve on committees. Obligations: annual subscription.
Natural or legal persons established abroad whose activity contributes positively to the development of the olive sector.
Rights: attend the General Assembly with the right to speak but not to vote; participate in events and programmes. Exempt from financial obligations.
Conferred on natural or legal persons of particular contribution to the aims of the Association. No application is submitted for this category.
Rights: all the rights of full members, except eligibility for office. Exempt from financial obligations.
This form is not the formal application under the statutes. It is the first step: on the basis of what you submit, the Secretariat will send you the official application and the list of supporting documents required for your category.
The statutes require evidence of activity for full members — for example, a tax registration certificate showing the active activity codes, a commercial registry certificate or cooperative statutes, and evidence that the activity is carried on as the principal professional activity.
